TRADING THE ODDS takes a Sabbatical

A bit more than a year ago Trading The Odds saw the light of day, but – at least for the time being – this will be my last post.

The main reason is that I’ll enter into a new promising project and business which – besides trading for a living (which by the way is completely different from what I’m regularly blogging about) – will probably take vast amounts of my time, and neither do I want to dissipate my energies nor would I be willing to accept anything below the level I’ve hopefully achieved in the past.

Thanks a lot to every one who ever read the blog, all the more those who contributed to the blog’s success (commenting on something, leaving a suggestion for improvement, …), but in particular those initial supporters who allowed for a quick-start into the blogosphere.

Successful trading,

This is the worst post you’ve ever made! :)

Seriously, you will *really* be missed. Your site was always one of my top 3 favorites, and lately it was often number one. The ideas and the approaches you came up with were often innovative and unique, and really stretched your readers’ minds.

I only hope this really is just a sabbatical, and that one day you’ll return to posting.

In the meantime, best of luck to you in your new venture, I’m sure it will be equally successful!

Time and time again you’ve demonstrated an unusual inquistiveness and a “can-do” willingness to put in the time and effort that’s made your blog site a “must see”.
In a world full of mundane pastels, you set yourself apart from the flock with a unique and verifiable market approach. Although many readers may not appreciate the extensive time and thought that went into each of those archived posts, I certainly do and commend you for your enthusiasm to explore and share. Best of luck in your new endeavors . . I have the highest confidence it will be a resounding success.
